We are looking for:

A Qualification Engineer (gn) to join our team at our Wrexham site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Management of short to medium term technical projects (typically 6-18 months) involving composite and adhesive materials for the aerospace industry
  • Responsible for coordination of testing, analysis of data and compilation of technical reports.
  • Responsible for providing technical expertise and support both internally and to major aerospace customers.
  • Demonstrate high proficiency communication skills within the team, to stakeholders, and end customers

You will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering (or a related field)
  • Experience in the composites or specialty polymers industry is a strong advantage
  • Working knowledge of base resins and reinforcement fibers
  • Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., AS9100); exposure to SPC/statistical methods and Six Sigma is a plus
  • Experience with raw material processing, batch processing, and/or web handling is a plus

You will get:

  • The UK annual base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this new hire is: 45.200 GBP to 56.500 GBP. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, qualification and internal equity and can ultimately be more or less than the posted salary range
  • 16, or more, weeks of maternity/paternity and co-parenting leave, according to local regulations.
