An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA or equivalent) to join a highly regarded private equity investment firm in London.
This is an ideal move for an ambitious accountant looking to transition from practice into industry or continue their career within an institutional investment environment. You'll gain exposure to a broad range of financial reporting, investment operations, fund structures, and portfolio company activities while working alongside experienced finance and investment professionals.

The Opportunity
Working within a high-performing finance team, your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts
- Assisting with statutory financial statements and external audits
- Supporting the preparation of financial reporting for investment funds and holding companies
- Producing balance sheet reconciliations and analysing financial performance
- Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting
- Supporting fund and investment accounting activities across multiple entities
- Working closely with external administrators, auditors, tax advisers, and banking partners
- Assisting with capital calls, distributions, and investor reporting where required
- Identifying opportunities to improve financial controls and reporting processes
- Supporting ad hoc commercial projects and analysis for senior management

About You
We're looking for a motivated finance professional who is keen to build a long-term career within private equity.
You'll ideally have:
- ACA, ACCA, or an equivalent accounting qualification (recently qualified or with up to a few years' post-qualified experience)
- A strong academic background
- Training gained within a recognised accountancy practice or relevant industry environment
- An excellent understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with financial systems
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships across the business
- A proactive mindset with a genuine desire to learn and develop
