Role Overview
As a Qualified Dental Nurse at Stafford Dental Surgery, you will be an essential member of our clinical team. Your expertise will contribute directly to the smooth running of the practice and the delivery of excellent dental care. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a caring, patient-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and maintaining the dental surgery and equipment to ensure infection control and safety standards are met
- Assisting dentists during a variety of dental procedures with efficiency and professionalism
- Managing patient records accurately and ensuring confidentiality in line with GDPR and NHS regulations
- Providing reassurance and support to patients before, during, and after treatment
- Maintaining stock levels and ordering dental supplies as required
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and practice protocols
- Supporting the team in delivering a welcoming and positive patient experience
- Participating in continuous professional development and training activities
Qualifications & Experience
- Recognised qualification in Dental Nursing (Level 3 or equivalent)
- Current registration with the General Dental Council (GDC)
- Previous experience working as a dental nurse in a general practice or similar setting is highly desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional manner
- Good organisational skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Knowledge of infection control procedures and dental health & safety standards
- Ability to remain calm and efficient in a busy clinical environment
