Starting Salary:

£14.98 per hour (dependent on qualifications and experience)

  • Supporting nursery staff in delivering high-quality EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) curriculum, engaging children in educational and playful activities.
  • Encouraging children’s development, helping them meet key early learning milestones.
  • Assisting with daily operational tasks, including:
    • Room tidying and preparation
    • Supporting safe, stimulating learning environments
    • Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in line with nursery policies.
  • Collaborating with teammates to ensure seamless day-to-day running of the nursery.

Requirements

Essential:

  • Full, relevant Level 3 or above qualification in:
    • Nursery Practitioner
    • Early Years Educator
    • Childcare/early years (equivalent)
  • Prior experience working with children, such as:
    • Nursery Nurse
    • Nanny
    • Childminder
  • A strong passion for making learning engaging, fun, and effective for each child.
  • Ability to use diverse communication techniques effectively with:
    • Children and adults
    • Parents, carers, and colleagues
  • Sound understanding and commitment to:
    • Child protection and safeguarding policies
    • Respecting confidentiality and maintaining safe practices.
  • Flexibility and adaptability – to fit around our varied workload and team’s needs.

Required Pre-Employment Checks

This position is subject to safer recruitment practices and:

  • Pre-employment interviews and references.
