Starting Salary:
£14.98 per hour (dependent on qualifications and experience)

- Supporting nursery staff in delivering high-quality EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) curriculum, engaging children in educational and playful activities.
- Encouraging children’s development, helping them meet key early learning milestones.
- Assisting with daily operational tasks, including:
- Room tidying and preparation
- Supporting safe, stimulating learning environments
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in line with nursery policies.
- Collaborating with teammates to ensure seamless day-to-day running of the nursery.
Requirements
Essential:
- Full, relevant Level 3 or above qualification in:
- Nursery Practitioner
- Early Years Educator
- Childcare/early years (equivalent)
- Prior experience working with children, such as:
- Nursery Nurse
- Nanny
- Childminder
- A strong passion for making learning engaging, fun, and effective for each child.
- Ability to use diverse communication techniques effectively with:
- Children and adults
- Parents, carers, and colleagues
- Sound understanding and commitment to:
- Child protection and safeguarding policies
- Respecting confidentiality and maintaining safe practices.
- Flexibility and adaptability – to fit around our varied workload and team’s needs.
Required Pre-Employment Checks
This position is subject to safer recruitment practices and:
- Enhanced DBS (Police Clean/Vetting) checks.
