Contract Type Flexible working

About Bright Horizons & This Role

Are you looking to work for a values-driven organisation where honesty, excellence, respect, and teamwork take centre stage? At Bright Horizons, we’re about fostering a culture where everyone feels supported, can make a real impact, and has the chance to say, “I did that”.

We’re now seeking a flexible working practitioner to join our Bright Flex / Bank team at our Highams Park nursery—a role that blends the flexibility of agency work with the security and benefits of a permanent position, offering the best of both worlds.

Our first-class nursery is conveniently located near Highams Park Station, providing easy commutes into Central London. Following a recent full refurbishment, it features modern amenities, including a relaxing staff room—just steps away from stylish E4 coffee shops.

Key Responsibilities

As part of the Bank/Practitioner team, you’ll:

  • Support colleagues in delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), engaging children in fun, educational activities and progress towards developmental milestones.
  • Assist with day-to-day operational tasks, such as room preparation, tidying, and maintaining a safe, stimulating environment.
  • Bring your passion for early childhood education to the team, utilising creativity and communication to inspire young learners.
  • Be on hand for ad-hoc sessions or longer shifts, flexing to meet daycare needs.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
