Nursery Practitioner (Bright Flex / Bank Team)
Location: Chigwell Day Nursery and Preschool, Roding Lane, Buckhurst Hill, Chigwell, Essex, IG9 6BJ
Salary: Starting from £15 per hour (-dependent on qualification and experience)

We are seeking a bright, flexible practitioner to join our Bright Flex / Bank team at our Chigwell nursery. Our nursery is conveniently situated near Buckhurst Hill and Chigwell Tube station, with an onsite car park for easy commuting.

Responsibilities
You will support experienced practitioners in delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum by engaging children in:
- Fun, educational activities
- Encouraging development toward key milestones
Additionally, you will assist with:
- Room tidying and preparation
- Day-to-day operational tasks within the nursery team
Requirements
Essential Criteria
✅ Qualification:
- Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification or above
✅ Experience:
- Proven experience working with children, such as in Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator, Nanny, or Childminder
✅ Skills & Passion:
- Enthusiasm for making learning fun and engaging
- Strong communication skills (adapting techniques for both children and adults)
- Deep understanding of child protection & safeguarding practices
- Flexibility and adaptability to the fast-paced nursery environment

- Safer recruitment practices & pre-employment DBS check (enhanced) required before offers
