The Role

Your primary tasks:

  • Help deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum by engaging children in educational and fun learning activities, promoting key developmental milestones.
  • Safeguard and nurture a classroom environment, collaborating with colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations (e.g., room tidying and preparation).
  • Implement flexible hours to support the nursery’s needs, blurring the line between agency and core employment flexibility.

Requirements

To apply, meet these essentials:

  • Full and valid Level 3 Early Years qualification or equivalent
  • Hands-on experience working with children (Nursery Practitioner, Childminder, Early Years Educator, Nanny, etc.)
  • First aid knowledge and proficiency (qualification/competency preferred) – Bright Horizons provides training but baseline skills are a must
  • Pupil Premium & Special Educational Needs (SEN) understanding
  • Strong adaptability and a team player mindset
