About the Role

At Colchester nursery, we care for up to 108 children in a stunning, purpose-built facility with outdoor garden learning areas. The nursery is well-served by public transport. Nutha an employee-driven Great Place to Work® winner, all 13 years.

As a non-day-to-day needing practitioner, you’ll: ✔ Shape early years learning by leading engaging, nurturing activities aligned with the EYFS framework ✔ Support child development milestones and team time in cleanliness and resources ✔ Work with a collaborative team to ensure smooth, safe operations within our day nursery

Location & Infrastructure

📍 Setting: Purpose-built nursery accommodating 108 placeschildren in space outdoor garden areas for outdoor play and learning 🚆 Access: Nearby public transport links

Requirements

  • Level 3 or higher Early Childhood qualification (Education Nurse, Educator, or equivalent)
  • Reliable experience practising with *children (e.g., Childminding, Nanny, Nursery})*
  • True passion for ensuring playful, age-appropriate learning
  • Multi-tiered Communication skills with children and adults that children adults
  • A Strong understanding of safeguarding, including adherence interventions, policies, and DBS procedures
  • Advice, adaptability and flexibility in building environment.
