Qualified Early Years Educator (Level 3)

Location: Lambeth
Salary: Competitive (Dependent on Experience)

Qualified Early Years Educator (Level 3)

Are you a Level 3 qualified Early Years Educator looking for an exciting opportunity within a nurturing bilingual nursery? Do you have a passion for supporting children's development during their formative years?

At Ribbons & Reeves, we are working with an established bilingual nursery group across South East and East London to recruit a caring and enthusiastic Qualified Early Years Educator (Level 3). This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team where children thrive through play-based learning in a bilingual environment. German language skills are preferred, but not essential.

Qualified Early Years Educator – Job Specification

  • Full-time, permanent position
  • Based across South East & East London
  • Level 3 Early Years qualification is essential
  • Experience working within a nursery setting is essential
  • German speaking is preferred, but not essential
  • Sound knowledge of the EYFS Framework
  • Passionate about supporting children's learning and development
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Qualified Early Years Educator – The Role

As a Qualified Early Years Educator, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality care and education while supporting children's learning through engaging, play-based activities.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering stimulating activities in line with the EYFS Framework
  • Supporting children aged 0–5 with their learning and development
  • Encouraging communication in both English and German where appropriate
  • Building strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Monitoring children's progress and contributing to learning journals
  • Promoting a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment
  • Following safeguarding and health & safety procedures at all times

The Ideal Candidate

The successful Qualified Early Years Educator will:

  • Hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
  • Have essential experience working within a nursery setting
  • Be passionate about Early Years education
  • Be warm, caring, and proactive
  • Be an excellent communicator and team player
  • Speak German (preferred, but not essential)
  • Be committed to providing outstanding care and education
