Mental Health Wellbeing Practitioners
We are proud to offer the post of Mental Health Wellbeing Practitioners to join our experienced workforce in Hertfordshire.
The post holder will have a desire to develop their skills in working with adults with severe and enduring mental illness, some of whom will have not had previous access to psychologically informed interventions.
The post-holder will work collaboratively with service users, their families, carers, and multi-disciplinary team members to provide assessment, care planning, and coordination of care, supporting collaborative decision-making about care and treatment. The successful candidate will be part of the core team and duties will also include, holding a small caseload, completing Initial Assessments, Care Planning, Risk Assessing, being part of the Duty Team.
The post holder will support the delivery of a set of wellbeing-focused psychologically informed interventions, aligned to cognitive-behavioural principles, based on the best evidence available, that address problems often experienced by people with severe mental health problems under the supervision of a clinical/counselling psychologist or CBT therapist, where this is identified in personalised care planning and support.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
