Qualified Nurse - Gateshead Job Description

The Lifeways Group is the UK’s largest provider of support services for adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health, and physical disabilities.

The successful candidate will receive a bonus of £500 after 6 months of recruitment and then a further £500 after 12 months.

Lifeways will also pay the annual NMC registration fee.

We’re looking for experienced Registered Nurses to join our team at Abbeymoor Neurological Care Centre in Swalwell. Our services at Abbeymoor are for individuals who have neurological or respite care requirements including Huntington’s disease and complex brain injuries. Working as part of a fantastic team you’ll be helping to enable our residents to carry out their daily lives as independently as possibly within the calm and relaxed atmosphere of the service.

Shift patterns available:

  • 07:30 – 19:30
  • 19:30 – 07:30

You’ll be involved with the assessment of aspects of our resident’s care needs, provide health supervision and direct nursing care when required and you’ll also be responsible for the administration and documentation of prescribed medicines in accordance with the Company’s procedure and NMC guidelines.
