Nursery Lunchtime Assistant

As a Lunchtime Assistant, you'll provide exceptional care, contribute to health and safety practices, and collaborate with our dynamic senior leadership team.
Key Requirements
- A Level 2 or above qualification in Early Years.
- Legal right to work in the UK.

Your Duties
We invite a friendly, spirited individual to join our Leatherhead Nursery as a Lunchtime Assistant.
- Work approximately 10am to 3pm daily.
- Deliver exceptional care to support each child’s development and individual needs.
- Provide flexible, lunchtime-friendly engagement and support to local nurseries.
- Create enriching environments through engaging indoor and outdoor activities.
- Align with British Values, Core Advantage, LEAP, and Early Years Foundation Stage principles to ensure holistic development.
- Strict adherence to child protection and health/safety policies, prioritising safeguarding at all times.

Ideal Candidates
- Experience in early years education settings with 'Good' or 'Outstanding'* inspection outcomes.
- Level 2 or above qualification in Early Years (required).
- Effective collaboration and communication within nursery teams.
- Record of ongoing training and professional qualifications.
- Proficient in hygiene standards, room preparation, and decision-making.
- Experience in food preparation and food management training.
- Familiarity with child protection and safeguarding policies.
- Motivated, deadline-driven approach, especially in children’s record-keeping and assessments.
