Sonographer – Private 4D Ultrasound Clinic (Full-time, Permanent)
Flowan Health, a private 4D ultrasound clinic based in South-West London, is seeking an experienced Sonographer to join our team full-time (30–34 hours per week) on a permanent basis, with a September start.
We have been serving clients for over five years, enjoying exceptionally positive feedback from our community. Our clinic prioritises a patient-focused approach, ensuring dignity, safety, and high standards of care at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct a range of prenatal scans, including:
- Early pregnancy & dating scans
- Gender scans
- Late pregnancy 4D ultrasound scans
- Produce high-quality ultrasound images and videos
- Maintain accurate patient records and make high-standard referrals when necessary

- Perform phlebotomy services for NIPT (Non-Invasive Prenatal Testing) (training provided if not already qualified)
- Collaborate with the management team to deliver a premium client experience
- Ensure consistently excellent patient care
- Maintain clinically high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety
Requirements
Professional Qualifications
- Qualified & registered Sonographer, with expertise in ultrasound practices
- Hold registration with one of the following UK professional bodies:
- HCPC (Health and Care Professionals Council)
- SoR (Society of Radiographers)
- BMUS (British Medical Ultrasound Society)
- (Optional: NMC or GMC if also relevant to your experience)

- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Referees available for verification of experience
Essential Skills
- Exceptional verbal & written communication skills
- Strong patient-centred approach, ensuring empathy and professionalism
- Ability to work with sensitive or complex medical information
Additional Considerations
- We can support candidates requiring UK Visa Sponsorship for this role
- Must be rooted in clinical practice—applications are not accepted from sonographers early in their career or with gaps in recent employment
