We are seeking a Qualified Person (QP) / Senior Quality Assurance Manager to drive quality and compliance across GMP, GDP, and HACCP for food supplements while safeguarding consumer trust across our UK Personal Health Care portfolio.

This highly visible position will require you to balance responsibility across manufacturing, technical compliance and the supply chain – all of which are vital to the success of our business, consumer safety and within a portfolio of trusted brands.


Role Overview

As the Qualified Person (QP) for Procter & Gamble UK, you will be accountable for ensuring that all products are manufactured, tested, released and distributed in full compliance with UK legislation and global quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

inclues but not limited to:

  • Act as Qualified Person for P&G UK in accordance with UK legislation for Medicinal Products for Human Use:

    • Responsible for batch certification, release, and maintaining the certification register.
  • Lead and ensure robust compliance across:

    • GMP, GDP, and HACCP
    • Effective documentation systems
    • Quality and technical agreements
    • Refining/qualifying
    • Auditing (suppliers, vendors, third parties)
    • Global healthcare procedures and approvals with Marketing Authorisations
  • Lead quality governance activities, such as:

    • Deviation management
    • CAPA definition and tracking
    • Quality performance monitoring
    • Continuous improvement initiatives
  • Manage sensitive critical quality events:

    • Incidents
    • Complaints and regulatory inspections
    • Recalls and withdrawals
    • Interface with internal stakeholders, authorities, and drug and food safety bodies
  • Prepare for and manage Formal Inspections (EUDAMED, Australian TGA, Pharmaceutical Inspection Convention Scheme (PICS) or UKMHRA)

  • Oversee training plan approval and compliance with annual rigorous training checking processes


Qualifications & Experience

What You’ll Bring

  • Academic Qualification:

    • Degree in: Pharmacy, Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology, or Biology
  • Professional Experience:

    • Registered and approved as a Qualified Person with British Authorities under UK legislation
    • Used custodial experience within regulated environment as a Qualified Person over the past 3 years
    • ** oito years of experience** in a Regulatory or GxP-focused compliance Area
  • Knowledge and Skills:

    • Advanced aptitude in GMP (Community and/or Human Medicines) and GDP requirements
    • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
    • Exceptional communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills with:

Competitive Total Rewards

P&G Total Reward Package Overview:

  • Base Salary: Paid monthly to an average of £70,000- base awarded within £65,000-£84,819 based on:

    • Current Peer Market UK/EU Pricing.
    • Job Experience and Relevant Skills relevant to the Assignment.
  • Match Cash Bonus Scheme: 5% (match 20%) based on company and/individual performance and objectives.

  • LPS Scheme (Long Term Performance Scheme): 1 - 3% annually with lifetime grant allocation capped on 3 years of performance.

  • Pension: Fully-funded and double matched by P&G up to 10% salary.

Work Arrangements

You will primarily work at P&G’s Weybridge headquarters, with customary facility flexibility to work in Reading or Skelmersdale collaboration office and factories / site. As of late, distributed working has been proven to be safe and trusted regulatory friendly, therefore, flexibility is aligned to the experiences below:

  • 3 Days in office

    • Work alongside cross disciplinary teams when collaboration is most crucial.
    • Teams value these periods to disrupt with on site or hybrid home office for focused head office days.
  • 2 Days working remotely

    • Allowing for enhanced focus for reflection and separation for daily critical personal commitments each week, during this period.
