Main Purpose of the Role / Key Objectives
To be responsible for a variety of plumbing installations and maintenance tasks within modular buildings, both at the Driffield site and on locations across the UK as required.
Accountabilities
- Installation and maintenance of plumbing systems to a high standard and in line with specifications and S.O.P.
- Adherence to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Effective collaboration with team members to ensure smooth and efficient production and site operations.
- Prompt reporting of any quality or safety issues.
- Compliance with Enlight10’s ISO requirements, including company policies, procedures, training, and objectives.

- Read and interpret plumbing schematics, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems including water supply, drainage, and heating systems in modular buildings.
- Use hand and power tools to cut, bend, and join pipes and fittings.
- Conduct pressure tests and inspections to ensure system integrity and compliance.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, including cleaning tools and work areas.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures, including wearing appropriate PPE.
- Report any safety concerns to the Supervisor/Factory Manager.
Key Skills & Requirements
- Minimum Level 2 Plumbing Qualification (NVQ or equivalent).
- Experience in modular building plumbing installations is highly advantageous.
- Demonstrable problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good time management and organisational skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced site and factory environment.
- Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
- Ability to promote a ‘right first time’ approach to work.
- Willingness to travel and work on sites across the UK as required.
