The Role
As a Qualified Senior Dental Nurse, you will play a crucial role in supporting our dental team, ensuring the smooth running of clinical sessions and maintaining the highest standards of patient care. Your expertise and professionalism will contribute significantly to the positive experience of our patients and the efficiency of our practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during a wide range of dental procedures, including complex treatments.
- Prepare and maintain clinical environments, ensuring all equipment is sterilised and ready for use.
- Manage patient care with empathy and professionalism, providing reassurance and clear communication.
- Support the training and mentoring of junior dental nursing staff.
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with administrative duties related to clinical care.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations, infection control protocols, and confidentiality requirements.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of practice procedures and patient care standards.

Qualifications And Experience
- Qualified Dental Nurse with current registration with the General Dental Council (GDC).
- Proven experience as a Senior Dental Nurse within general dental practice or specialist settings.
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures, infection control, and clinical governance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
