About The Role
Unfortunately, this role does not meet the legal requirements for visa sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route.
We cannot accept individuals on full-time sponsorship who are seeking this as a second job or as their main job, as care is no longer classified as a Skilled Worker occupation.
Are you a qualified social worker with experience of working with adults with social care needs, who thrives on being at the forefront of innovative practice and new ways of working?
Do you have a passion and commitment to work alongside people to enable them to live their best life possible?
Do you want to be part of a developing dynamic and creative culture, which seeks to connect individuals and their communities, by asking the right questions at the right time, to support people to find the right solutions?
What will you be doing?
We use a strength-based, outcomes focused approach and utilise the 3 conversations model. This means engaging people in a conversational model which allows them to tell us what is important and really matters to them, and then taking timely action to support them to connect with resources that help them continue with their chosen life.
We know that people are key to our success, and we are seeking colleagues with ambition, creativity, and commitment to our values to help us to achieve the best possible outcomes for the people of North Northants.
For more information please contact Lisa Buttar, Team Manager on 01536 805055.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
