Qualitative Research and Insights Specialist (Contract)
£300-350 per day (Outside IR35) 1-month Contract UK-based Fully Remote
This is a highly engaging contract opportunity to shape audience understanding within the live entertainment sector. You will support a busy insights team, delivering multiple audience profiling projects that directly inform marketing strategy for major productions and venues. With surveys already in field, this role focuses on analysis and storytelling, providing immediate impact.
The Company
They are a specialist marketing and insights agency operating across the UK, with a strong focus on live entertainment. Their work supports theatre productions, large venues, and cultural organisations through data-led audience understanding. Sitting within a dedicated data and insights function, they deliver research that drives campaign performance and audience growth. Due to increased project demand, they are seeking additional support on a contract basis.

The Role and Deliverables
You will work across a portfolio of audience profiling studies, translating research and behavioural data into clear insights.
- Analyse first and third-party survey data to build detailed audience profiles
- Work across multiple concurrent projects, focusing on live entertainment audiences
- Integrate data sources including panel data, website insights, and ticket sales data
- Use platforms such as GWI or similar tools to enrich audience understanding
- Produce structured insights outputs using existing templates and frameworks
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver clear, actionable insights decks

Your Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in audience or consumer profiling within a marketing or insights environment
- Proven ability to analyse survey data and interpret third-party panel datasets
- Experience using GWI or similar audience insight tools
- Comfortable working with multiple data sources, including digital and sales data
- Ability to translate analysis into clear, compelling insight narratives
- Experience in live entertainment, media, or cultural sectors is beneficial
