United Infrastructure is a dynamic and rapidly expanding business, focused on delivering critical infrastructure projects across the utility and social infrastructure sectors. Our team of highly skilled and hardworking specialists deliver innovative solutions to complex challenges our clients face.
Our company is split into two business areas:
- Utility Infrastructure – Our team of specialists design, build, and maintain critical water, energy (gas), power, and telecoms infrastructure for the UK’s largest network owners and operators.
- Social Infrastructure – Our team revitalises homes and communities by carrying out projects ranging from retrofits to refurbishment and maintenance.

The Role: Quality Administrator (Southern Water Framework)
The Quality Administrator will be a local role as part of the Planning & Performance Team, led by the Planning & Performance Manager based in Port Solent. Occasional visits to project sites will support monitoring and upskilling of activities, ensuring compliance with reporting and validation processes.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Assurance & Reporting
- Validate and ensure accurate data and completion information.
- Administer joint quality, drawings, pipe pressure testing & chlorination processes.
- Capture and review construction progress pictures at key project stages.
- Reconcile and report project data effectively.
- Build handover packs and health & safety files.
- Support streetworks and planning duties as required.
General Administration
- Manage sub-contractor administration & correspondence.
- Capture and report effective data with weekly verification.
- Liaise with sub-contractors to ensure compliance.
- Support audits by preparing relevant documentation.
- Maintain time management to meet project timelines.
- Ensure alignment with United Infrastructure’s health & safety principles.

Requirements
- Experience in a similar quality assurance role (preferable).
- Proficiency with software and Microsoft Excel.
- Industry experience with knowledge of sub-contract management.
- Familiarity with work and installation techniques.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- Computer literacy and MS Office (especially Excel) essential.
- Willingness to work individually or as part of a team.
