Your new company:

A well-established manufacturing and engineering business is seeking a highly organised Quality Administrator to join its Quality team for three to six months (with the potential of going permanent). This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator looking to develop their career within a quality-focused environment where accuracy, compliance and attention to detail are key.

Your new role:

Reporting to the QHSE Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting quality assurance activities through the effective management of documentation, certification records and compliance-related administration. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining supplier certification and quality documentation records.
  • Monitoring certification tracking logs and chasing outstanding documentation.
  • Raising and managing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
  • Supporting document control, scanning, filing and archiving processes.
  • Maintaining calibration and equipment certification records.
  • Assisting with audit preparation and compliance activities.
  • Producing reports and compiling quality documentation packs.
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the Quality function.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Previous administrative experience, ideally within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • The ability to read mechanical drawings and understand tolerances.
  • Strong organisational and document management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with internal teams and suppliers.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems. (Desirable)
  • Experience handling technical documentation, certification records or calibration records. (Desirable)
  • An understanding of quality assurance and quality control processes. (Desirable)
