Quality & Compliance Assistant – Supported Living
Location: North-East Essex, Ipswich & Norwich (travel required)
Reporting to: Head of Care
Driving Licence: Essential

We are looking for a motivated and organised Quality & Compliance Assistant to join our growing team and help ensure our supported living services consistently deliver outstanding care.
About The Role
Working alongside the Head of Care, you will support quality assurance and regulatory compliance across our supported living services in North-East Essex, Ipswich and Norwich. You will help services maintain CQC readiness, identify opportunities for improvement, analyse quality data and support teams to deliver safe, person-centred care.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in health and social care who enjoys auditing, problem-solving and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out scheduled and unannounced quality assurance visits across services.
- Complete audits and monitor compliance with CQC Fundamental Standards, health and safety legislation and local authority requirements.
- Support services to remain inspection-ready at all times.
- Monitor safeguarding activity, incidents and action plans, escalating concerns where appropriate.
- Analyse quality and compliance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Produce clear reports and present findings to the Head of Care.
- Support managers in implementing and monitoring improvement plans.
- Review care records, documentation and policies to ensure compliance and best practice.
- Champion person-centred care by seeking feedback from the people we support and their families.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, accountability and learning across services.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- Passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
- Organised, analytical and confident working with data.
- Comfortable carrying out audits and producing reports.
- Confident communicating with staff, managers, families and the people we support.
- Able to challenge poor practice professionally and support positive change.
- A strong team player with excellent attention to detail.

Essential Requirements
- Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification (or equivalent).
- Knowledge of CQC regulations and health and social care legislation.
- Experience collecting and analysing data.
- Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between services.
Desirable
- Level 4 or 5 qualification in Health & Social Care, Leadership, Quality or Change Management.
- Experience preparing for or supporting CQC inspections.
- Experience using care management or quality assurance systems.
- Experience producing reports for senior managers or regulatory bodies.
- Experience working across multiple services.
