Job Description: Quality & Continuous Improvement Professional
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Quality & Continuous Improvement Professional to support our Grid Integration Services team in driving product quality, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives.
This role will be responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and monitoring of quality management systems, processes, and improvement programmes that enhance operational performance and customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying improvement opportunities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices, and fostering a culture of quality and operational excellence across the organisation. The ideal candidate will be analytical, collaborative, and passionate about delivering sustainable improvements that contribute to business success.
Location: Birmingham, United Kingdom (Remote)
Contract: This is a fixed term 2 year position

How You'll Make An Impact
- Assist in the execution of quality management systems, including audits, assessments, and corrective actions.
- Support the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives across all departments.
- Help track performance metrics and identify opportunities for process optimization.
- Collaborate with the Global Service Organization (GSG) and cross-functional teams to identify quality gaps, recommend improvements, ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
- Participate in root cause analysis and assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Assist in training staff on quality and continuous improvement practices.
- Support the preparation and review of quality documentation, including procedures, reports, and specifications.
- Participate in quality inspections and process audits and help generate reports on findings.
- Monitor industry trends and standards to ensure the organization remains competitive in quality and operational practices.
- Provide general administrative support to the Quality and Continuous Improvement team as needed.

Your background
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, Quality Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong understanding of quality management systems, process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma), and industry standards (e.g., ISO, GMP).
- Previous experience in a quality or continuous improvement role is a plus but not required.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Fluent written & spoken English.
- An ability to work on your own initiative.
- Driving license.
