Quality and Governance Administrator 📍 Location: Spire Leicester Hospital | ⏰ Hours: Part-time (15 hours per week) – 2 days a week, Monday to Friday (8am to 6pm)
About the Role
Spire Leicester Hospital is seeking an experienced Clinical Quality and Governance Administrator to join their Clinical Governance team part-time, supporting seamless departmental operations in governance, quality, and consultant compliance.
Reporting to the Clinical Governance Lead, this role is essential to maintaining regulatory standards and ensuring consistent policy adherence across the hospital.
Key Responsibilities
(Not exhaustive – additional duties may be required)

Audit & Compliance Support
- Assist in managing the hospital’s audit programme, particularly AMaT (Analysis & Management of Trends) audits.
- Monitor and track monthly/quarterly AMaT compliance across departments.
- Support the updating of the hospital’s local policy database, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.

Incident & Risk Management
- Collaborate with the Clinical Governance Lead to monitor DATIX (incident/logging database) compliance.
- Send reminders for pending incidents and track action closure timelines.
- Provide administrative support for PSQR (Prescription Safeguarding and Quality Review) processes and preparations.

Documentation & Policy Management
- Maintain document control protocols, ensuring alignment with national/regulatory standards.
Requirements & Skills
Must-have:
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel with comprehensive demonstrated experience.
- Minimum GCSE/GCE/CSE standard qualifications in English and Mathematics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build rapport with colleagues—articulate, compassionate, and adaptable.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently within defined scope.
Preferred (but not essential):
- Prior experience within a healthcare setting.
Working Pattern
- Monday to Friday, between 8am–6pm (2 days per week).
- 15 hours per week.
