Quality & Governance Lead

Southwark | Full Time | 37.5 Hours

Great services don't happen by chance. They are built through quality, learning, and continuous improvement.

At Change Grow Live, we believe that every person deserves access to high-quality, compassionate, and effective support.

Behind every successful recovery journey is a service that is constantly learning, improving, and striving for excellence.

Role Overview

We're looking for a Quality & Governance Lead to help shape the future of our Southwark service—driving quality, strengthening governance, and ensuring that every person who accesses our service receives the best possible support.

This is a role for someone who is curious, analytical, and passionate about improving outcomes. Someone who can turn insight into action, challenge constructively, and support teams to continuously develop their practice.

Why this Role Matters

Quality isn't just about compliance.

It's about creating services that are safer, more effective, and more responsive to the needs of the people we support.

As Quality & Governance Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in helping our Southwark service achieve and maintain the highest standards of delivery. You'll lead audits, reviews, and governance activity, identify opportunities for improvement, and work alongside managers and practitioners to embed learning and best practice across the service.

You'll influence how we learn from incidents, strengthen professional practice, and build a culture where quality improvement is everyone's responsibility.

Who We're Looking For

You'll bring a combination of operational experience, quality improvement expertise, and a genuine passion for supporting others to grow and develop.

You'll have:

  • Experience working within drug and alcohol services or a related health and social care environment
  • Experience conducting audits, reviews, or quality assurance activity
  • Strong knowledge of governance, risk management, and continuous improvement approaches
  • Experience delivering coaching, workshops, or training to staff teams
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Confidence working with data and reporting systems to identify trends and opportunities
  • The ability to balance challenge and support to drive positive change

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
