  • Contract: 13-month fixed-term contract (FTC)
  • Location: Ipswich (3 days onsite per week)

About the Role

As part of the Operational Strategy Team, the Quality Assurance Advisor will:

  • Provide a consistent framework for auditing high-risk processes, ensuring uniform reporting to stakeholders, including actionable insights by identifying trends and aligning communication with expected outcomes.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to align business needs with ways of working, translating audit scores, trends, and insights into meaningful insights.
  • Identify knowledge gaps, inefficiencies in processes, inconsistencies in information sharing, or potential improvements that benefit the business.
  • Offer assurance of controls and performance tailored for the Senior Leadership Team.
  • Promote and implement culture and continuous improvement tools, fostering proactive problem-solving.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Knowledge and experience of the electricity industry, combined with a clear understanding of the regulatory landscape and governing standards within the sector.
  • Strong time management and prioritisation skills, with the ability to balance changing business priorities and address risk management needs effectively.
  • Excellent analytical skills, enabling you to assess business processes, identity opportunities, and mitigate risks.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships while demonstrating exceptional communication skills to inform stakeholders and ensure action is taken.
