Location: Melton, Woodbridge
Salary: £28,000
The principal role of the Quality Assurance Analyst is to ensure that software products are fully functional and fit for purpose for our customers by focusing on validation and verification of our products. You will collaborate alongside our current QA and Development teams to own the quality of our assigned features. You will also maintain and update our current regression packs and executing test runs with the follow up execution reports for key stakeholders.
It is imperative that our customer experience is at the forefront of this role. Candidates should have a methodical approach, with a keen eye for detail and problem solving skills.
Key Tasks
- Create Test Plans
- Create Test Cases based on Test Plans
- Review Test Cases created by other individuals and confirm they are written and understandable in the Gherkin Format
- Execute Test Runs
- Complete Execution Reports
- Liaise with the QA lead and Key Stakeholders on defects raised
- Help monitor consistent bugs to identify RCA where consistent bugs require a more permanent fix.
- Understanding risk management principles for each defect
- Monitor and guide Graduate QA’s in the ISTQB practises
- Comply with the company's Health & Safety, Data Protection, Information Security, PCI & DSP policies and procedures.

Skills & Experience
- An understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Confidence in troubleshooting complex problems and performing the Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
- Excels with self-motivation and self-discipline
- Able to manage own time, prioritise requirements and multi-task.
- Experience or knowledge of the following applications is desirable:
- Test Management & bug tracking tools such as Jira, Testrail or Zephyr
- Creating or making api calls with applications such as Bruno or Postman
- Desire to learn or some exposure to automation tools such as Playwright or Selenium
- Any experience using Typescript and/or AI testing is desired but not required
