Quality Assurance Auditor – Eye, Suffolk

Job Title & Location
Quality Assurance Auditor Location: Eye, Suffolk (Onsite office-based role) Work Schedule: Monday – Friday | 37.5 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Follow all applicable policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Navigate global and local regulations, ensuring full understanding of key requirements
- Conduct comprehensive protocol reviews, data audits, and report assessments
- Perform process inspections to verify compliance with operational standards
- Explain Quality Assurance (QA) principles in sufficient detail for client-facing audits
- Build strong working relationships with operational teams and leadership
- Ensure Regulatory Compliance and Quality Assurance (RC&QA) responsibilities are followed as specified in all controlled documents
- Collaborate with operational managers to support QA-related initiatives or assist the QA team at multi-site projects
- Drive local Quality initiatives and process improvements, focusing on enhancing compliance and efficiency
- Create or revise QA SOPs based on findings from internal audits and quality initiatives
Primary Duties
- Carry out GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) and GxP (e.g. GCP, GDP) compliance audits across laboratory and office teams
- Provide regulatory guidance during experimental designs and operational processes
- Support the development of audit reports and corrective actions (CAPA) for studies
- Ensure data integrity and documentation in alignment with regulatory frameworks

Minimum Qualifications
- GCSE in Science, Maths, and English (or equivalent)
Essential Additional Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in auditing or a relevant background in a regulated environment (GLP/GxP)
- Strong attention to detail, enhanced by organisational and process improvement abilities
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a consistent focus on clear, structured feedback
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated regulatory agility and an understanding of current global standards for audits, documentation, and laboratory operations
About the Work Environment
- Onsite office-based role at Labcorp Eye, Suffolk
- No public transport links available due to location; applicants must have suitable transport
