AI QA Automation Engineer – Contract – FinTech
Oliver Bernard are currently working with an established FinTech client of ours, based out of London, who are looking to take on an AI QA Automation Engineer to take ownership over a migration project across their testing suites (to Cypress).
The incoming contractor will need to have experience from a technical leadership perspective, and be able to drive Automation first practices across their QA function as they update their tech stack, and adopt a Cypress framework.

Required Expertise
- Prior experience migrating to Cypress
- Hands-on Automation expertise in JavaScript / TypeScript driven environments
- Strong ability utilising AI tooling (and improving the uptake of these across testing)
- Additional experience across CI/CD and Performance Testing is a big bonus
- Prior experience in Finance and / or Regulated environments is also highly beneficial

This is a hybrid (2 days per week) contract opening, outside IR35, for an initial 6-month period, and can offer £400-475 per day for the suitable candidate.
