Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test scripts.
• Develop automation solutions using Python or Shell scripting.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, API, and end-to-end testing.
• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test execution reports.
• Collaborate with developers to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Improve test coverage and automation efficiency across releases.
• Validate cloud-based applications and microservices deployments.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Support performance, security, and reliability validation activities as needed.

Required Skills

QA & Automation

• Strong experience in test automation frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Selenium / Playwright / Cypress
  • API Testing (Postman, REST APIs)
  • PyTest / Robot Framework (preferred)
• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (JIRA, Xray, TestRail, etc.).

Programming & Scripting (Mandatory)

• Strong proficiency in Python OR Shell Scripting.
• Ability to write reusable automation libraries and utilities.
• Experience with Git-based source control.

Cloud & DevOps

• Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Exposure to:
  • Docker
  • Kubernetes/OpenShift
  • Jenkins/GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps
  • CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code concepts is a plus.

Key Competencies

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
• Continuous learning mindset and passion for quality engineering.

Nice-to-Have

• Kubernetes/OpenShift administration exposure.
• Performance testing experience.
• Knowledge of Terraform/Ansible.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or CloudWatch.
