Are you a Quality professional who's spent real time in packaging: audits, specs, copack sites, supplier validation?
A global beverage business is hiring a Packaging Quality Engineer for their EMEA Quality team, based in London. This one's confidential, but think major, globally recognised drinks brand, huge shelf presence, and a Quality function that carries real weight in the business rather than sitting on the side of it.
This isn't a narrow packaging only role. It's a genuine Quality position where packaging is your core focus area, which means if your background is broader Quality or QA with strong packaging exposure, rather than a pure packaging engineering CV, you should still be reading this.
You'd own packaging quality across the region: auditing can, lid and preform manufacturers, validating specs at copack sites, and catching nonconformances before they ever get near the shelf. It's hands on, it's technical, and it sits right at the intersection of manufacturing, engineering and consumer trust.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
