Quality Assurance Engineer

Project description

Project is a strategic automation and operational resilience initiative that focuses on scaling the capabilities of an internally built AWS-based platform designed to automate operational checks, manual processes, and Excel-based end-user developed applications (EUDAs).

Project aims to materially reduce significant operational risks and reliance on manual controls by onboarding high‑risk and high‑volume operational processes into an internal platform and increasing automation levels across the operational landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with Operations, Technology, and Business stakeholders to understand operational processes, risks, and control requirements
  • Build and maintain a comprehensive inventory of manual processes, EUDAs, and operational checks, including linkage to key controls
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy automated checks and processes
  • Increase automation coverage across operational checklists, manual processes, and EUDAs, reducing manual effort and human error
  • Integrate monitoring, alerting, and scheduling solutions (e.g. Control‑M, Geneos, Datadog) into automated workflows
  • Contribute to the delivery of Health Dashboards, providing real‑time operational resilience insights for senior stakeholders
  • Work within an agile delivery framework, contributing to sprint planning, backlog refinement, demos, and continuous improvement
  • Ensure solutions meet security, resilience, and SDLC standards, with appropriate documentation and version control.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
