Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere) Job Type: Contract Payout: $25 - $60/hour
Role Overview
We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to work on a contract basis. The role involves ensuring software products meet defined quality standards through systematic testing and validation. You will collaborate with development teams to identify defects and verify fixes, maintaining high reliability across platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and document test cases to validate software functionality and performance.
- Identify, report, and track software defects using tracking systems to ensure resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine product requirements.
- Automate test cases to improve efficiency and coverage of regression testing.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability of software components.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with manual and automated testing frameworks and tools.
- Proficiency in writing test cases and executing test plans.
- Knowledge of bug tracking systems such as Jira or similar tools.
- Familiarity with API and UI testing methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills to diagnose software issues and verify fixes.
