Are you an experienced Quality Assurance professional looking to make a significant impact within the Defence and Aerospace sectors? Evodia Limited is partnering with a leading client to recruit a Quality Assurance Engineer based in Bristol, with the flexibility of hybrid working, requiring 2 to 3 days onsite each week.
This role offers an exciting opportunity until 31 March 2027, with a competitive daily rate of up to £570 (inside IR35). If you hold SC clearance and have the right blend of industry knowledge and QA expertise, we'd love to hear from you.
About the Role
As an Air RTW Quality Assurance Engineer, you'll play a key part in supporting government quality assurance frameworks, overseeing supplier performance, and promoting continuous improvement within the supply chain, especially in the Rotary Wing and UAS domains. You will manage governance activities, provide independent assurance on supply chain capability, and contribute to risk management strategies.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver governance, assurance, and ongoing improvement within the Rotary Wing and UAS sectors via the Safety and Engineering teams.
- Ensure supplier and product performance aligns with safety and airworthiness standards.
- Support contractor selection and risk management processes to uphold government quality assurance benchmarks.
- Promote best practices and continuous improvement in supply chain processes.
What We're Looking For
- Registration with the CQI as Practitioner Grade (PCQI).
- Broad QA and manufacturing experience, gained through involvement in multiple projects and technical environments, with a focus on the Air domain (preferably Rotary Wing).
- Experience engaging with supply chains and knowledge of Configuration Management.
- Engineering qualification at RQF Level 6 or professional registration with the Engineering Council as an Engineering Technician (EngTech).
- SC security clearance is a must.
