Job Location: London, UK

Work Mode: 5 days per week, on-site

Experience: 16+ years of relevant experience, including leadership roles in QA and testing within financial systems.

About the Role

At Coforge, we are hiring for a Global QA Lead – FX Front Office with the following requirements and differentiation:

    • FX trading

  • Testing Leadership: Ability to:

    • Define global test strategies
    • Manage complex test cycles

  • Test Automation & CI/CD: Strong leadership in:

    • Automation frameworks
    • Data validation (SQL)
    • CI/CD pipeline integration for scalable QA knowledge

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive product quality through:
    • Testing innovation
    • Continual process improvements
  • Collaborate with:
    • Business Analysts
    • Product Owners
    • Architectures
    • Developers to build testable solutions
  • Define and execute enterprise- and program-level test strategies and roadmaps
  • Lead:
    • Complex test cycles
    • Defect management
    • Regulatory compliance activities
  • Design and manage proofs of concept (PoCs) and feasibility studies
  • Proactively:
    • Identify risks
    • Resolve technical issues
    • Manage escalations
  • Optimise and maintain automation frameworks and regression suites
  • Shape and execute automation strategy across CI/CD pipelines
  • Lead:
    • Resource planning
    • Team building
    • Performance management

FX Domain Knowledge

  • End-to-end FX trade lifecycle including:
    • Trading
    • Confirmations
    • Settlements
    • Payments
    • Risk workflows

Test Strategy & Governance

  • Enterprise-scale test methodology and execution globally
  • Cross-team collaboration across geographies

Automation & CI/CD

  • Expertise in:
    • BDD/TDD (Behavior-Driven Development/Test-Driven Development)
    • Tools such as Cucumber and Selenium
    • Pipelines like Jenkins or Azure DevOps

Data & API Testing

  • Advanced proficiency in SQL
  • ETL/ELT validation (Extraction, Transformation, Loading/Extract, Load, Transform)
  • Microservices and API testing

Performance Testing

  • Experience designing and conducting large-scale performance tests

Compliance & Standards

  • Deep knowledge of:
    • Enterprise QA standards
    • Regulatory requirements

Analytical Skills

  • Strong problem-solving abilities in complex financial logic and calculations

Financial Services Industry

  • Capital markets and FX market experience highly preferred.
