Quality Assurance Executive Translation Team – Linguistics Sub-Department

Our dynamic team isn’t just seeking an QA professional—we’re inviting a meticulous, passionate languages enthusiast to join us as a Quality Assurance Executive, enforcing excellence in translations for roles across 100+ languages under our ISO 17100 certification.

This opportunity invites you to audacity our localisation deliverables with scientific precision: ensuring accuracy, consistency, and flawlessness—focusing specifically on non-linguistic checks like punctuation, terminology adherence, and omissions. Whether you’re a native linguist or proving fluent in concord, your input will sculpt incredible translations into flawlessness.

The Role

Contract & Workstyle

  • Permanent, full-time 37.5 hours per week
  • Salary: £25,000
  • Working policy: Hybrid (minimum 1 day in-office per week)
  • Location: Flexible office (see vibrancy descriptions below)

Core Responsibilities

  • Execute quality assurance checks on translations using CAT tools (e.g., cancellation checks, terminological consistency evaluations, formatting controls, numerical to textual error tracking).
  • Develop and populate translation assets to standardise workflows:
    • Style guides
    • Term bases/glossaries (ongoing updates and consistency checks)
    • Sources lists/non-translatable content lists for new projects.
  • Record rigorous check findings in project management tools via clear reports.
  • Spot-trends in recurring errors, hunt their root causes-while actively proposing improvements to enhance cross-language quality standards.
  • Partner with Global Resourcing on hiring evaluations, so they can assess freelancer quality assurance through our proprietary test judiciously.
  • Require constructive feedback skills.
