External Quality Assurer (Casual Worker)
To deliver support and provide a customer-centric approach to external quality assurance to NOCN-approved centers in the following sectors:
ESOL
This vacancy requires Quality Assurance experience in the context of education, in the above sector and for applicants to be UK-based. Applications outside this will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out quality assurance visits to centres and employers.
- Monitor assessments, training, and testing to ensure NOCN standards are met.
- Support centres to improve delivery and compliance.
- Identify and address risks, malpractice, and quality issues.
- Review assessment decisions, assessor/IQA records, and centre processes.
- Provide feedback, guidance, and training to customers.
- Produce clear quality assurance reports.
- Share good practice and contribute to improving QA processes.

About You
- Qualified Assessor, IQA, and EQA (A1, V1, V2/D35).
- Experience in External Quality Assurance and assessment environments.
- Knowledge of ESOL/Skills for Life qualifications and assessment requirements.
- Understanding of education regulations and quality standards.
- Strong communication, report writing, IT, and analytical skills.
- Able to build professional relationships and support customers.
- Organised, adaptable, accurate, and able to work independently.
- Willing to travel across the UK.
