Permanent | Engineering & Manufacturing

Are you experienced in quality assurance within an electro-mechanical or complex manufacturing environment? Want to take ownership of quality processes in a company that actually listens and invests in doing things properly?

We’re supporting a well-established engineering business based in Hampshire who design and build highly technical products used around the world. They’re now looking for a Quality Assurance Lead to join their Quality team and work closely with Production and Engineering to ensure the highest standards across final product release.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead and maintain quality control processes across production
  • Conduct inspections of electro-mechanical assemblies and finished products
  • Work with engineering and production teams to identify and reduce quality risks (including FMEA and control plans)
  • Review and manage non-conformance reports, ensuring effective corrective actions
  • Own the final product release / dispatch sign-off process
  • Oversee calibration systems and ensure equipment meets required standards
  • Support and mentor a Quality Release Inspector

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
