Are you experienced in quality assurance within an electro-mechanical or complex manufacturing environment? Want to take ownership of quality processes in a company that actually listens and invests in doing things properly?
We’re supporting a well-established engineering business based in Hampshire who design and build highly technical products used around the world. They’re now looking for a Quality Assurance Lead to join their Quality team and work closely with Production and Engineering to ensure the highest standards across final product release.
This role is hands-on, collaborative, and influential, you’ll be the person who makes sure what leaves the building is right first time.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and maintain quality control processes across production
- Conduct inspections of electro-mechanical assemblies and finished products
- Work with engineering and production teams to identify and reduce quality risks (including FMEA and control plans)
- Review and manage non-conformance reports, ensuring effective corrective actions
- Own the final product release / dispatch sign-off process
- Oversee calibration systems and ensure equipment meets required standards
- Support and mentor a Quality Release Inspector

What You’ll Need
- Background in quality assurance within manufacturing or engineering
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Confidence in identifying non-conformance and driving corrective action
- Strong attention to detail and structured working habits
- Understanding of ESD and calibration systems would be a strong advantage
- Experience inspecting soldering/crimping work also beneficial
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with engineering & production teams
