We are seeking an experienced Quality & Standards Manager to support the rapid validation and launch of 3 new academic programmes backed by recent funding from the OfS.
This is a short-term (3 months approx.), part-time role and fully remote will be considered to start asap.
This is a high-impact role focused on working closely with academic teams to ensure new provision is approved, compliant, and ready for delivery.
What you’ll do
- Lead and coordinate programme validation activity for new courses
- Work closely with academic staff and quality teams to prepare and deliver approval processes
- Provide clear, practical advice on quality assurance requirements
- Support the set-up of new programmes, ensuring compliance with regulations
- Contribute to documentation, panels, and approval events

What you’ll bring
- Experience in Quality Assurance within HE or FE
- Proven involvement in programme validation or approval processes
- Strong understanding of academic quality standards and regulatory frameworks
- Ability to work at pace and manage priorities in a project-focused environment
- Confident stakeholder engagement with academic teams

Working arrangements
- Standard full-time hours are 9am to 5.15pm (5pm Friday), with flexibility
- Part-time role across 3 days per week
- Hybrid working or remote options available
