QA Manager – Wealth Management Technology Platform – London / Hybrid
(Tech stack: QA Management, Test Strategy, Test Automation, Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, C#, TypeScript, Azure DevOps, JIRA, Confluence, CI/CD, Agile, Scrum, Investment Management, Wealth Management)
Our client is a leading FinTech organisation developing an award-winning front-to-back investment and wealth management platform used by financial institutions across the UK and Europe. Following a period of sustained growth and continued investment in its technology estate, the business is looking to appoint an experienced QA Manager to lead its Quality Assurance function and play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality software across a complex, business-critical platform.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a people-focused QA leader who combines strong technical knowledge with exceptional stakeholder management skills. You will be responsible for:
- Leading and developing a team of manual and automation engineers
- Defining the overall quality strategy
- Ensuring robust testing practices are embedded throughout the software development lifecycle

Working closely with Engineering, Product, and Programme Delivery teams, you will:
- Drive improvements in release quality, test coverage, and automation
- Ensure delivery remains aligned with business priorities and client expectations
As QA Manager, you will:
- Own quality governance across multiple concurrent projects
- Establish testing standards, release quality gates, and defect management processes
- Lead root cause analysis for production issues
- Oversee quality reporting and KPIs
- Proactively identify risks before they impact delivery
Working within an Agile environment, you will:
- Collaborate with Scrum teams, Product Owners, and senior stakeholders
- Help shape the organisation's automation strategy through technologies such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium, alongside Azure DevOps, JIRA, Confluence, and modern CI/CD pipelines
- Experience promoting AI-assisted testing and quality engineering practices will be highly advantageous as the business continues to modernise its software delivery capabilities
Successful QA Manager candidates should have:
- Proven experience leading QA teams within a software, FinTech, or financial services environment
- Strong understanding of both manual and automated testing methodologies
- Experience delivering enterprise SaaS platforms, investment, or wealth management solutions
- Experience working with distributed engineering teams

Location: London, UK / Hybrid Working
Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 + Bonus + Pension + Benefits
Hybrid Working: 3-days a week in the offices
