Quality Manager
Location: London, UK (Hybrid)
Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 per annum (DOE)
About the Role
Our client, a leading developer and operator of renewable energy infrastructure, is seeking a Quality Manager to join their growing team. This is a key position supporting the delivery of major solar and battery energy storage projects, ensuring robust quality standards are embedded throughout the project lifecycle from development through to operation.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain the organisation’s Quality Management System (QMS) across development, procurement, construction, and operational activities.
- Establish quality policies, procedures, standards, templates, and governance processes to support project delivery.
- Support procurement and contractor selection activities by assessing supplier quality capability and performance.
- Work closely with engineering, construction, and project teams to develop project-specific quality plans and assurance programmes.
- Implement and oversee quality assurance activities throughout project construction phases, including audits, inspections, and compliance reviews.
- Identify recurring quality issues and drive corrective actions, lessons learned initiatives, and continuous improvement programmes.
- Support the review and resolution of significant quality concerns and non-conformances across projects.
- Ensure asset documentation, as-built records, and quality information are complete and accurate ahead of project handover.
- Support operational teams with investigations into equipment failures, recurring defects, and performance issues.
- Promote standardisation and best practice across quality assurance processes throughout the project portfolio.

Experience & Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in quality management within renewable energy, utilities, infrastructure, transmission, or major construction projects.
- Proven experience developing, implementing, and improving Quality Management Systems.
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality auditing principles.
- Experience working within multi-contractor project environments and managing quality assurance programmes.
- Strong understanding of engineering, construction, commissioning, and quality control processes.
- Experience managing non-conformance, corrective action, and continuous improvement processes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence contractors and senior project teams.
- Lead Auditor qualifications, renewable energy experience, or knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, or ISO 55001 would be advantageous.
