Quality Assurance Officer | Muve Healthcare

Location: Remote
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: Competitive (DOE)

We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Officer to join our growing team and help ensure our services consistently meet the highest standards of care, governance, and regulatory compliance.

The Role

As our Quality Assurance Officer, you'll work closely with Registered Managers and operational teams to monitor service quality, identify opportunities for improvement, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards, legislation, and internal policies.

You'll support services regulated by organisations such as CQC, CIW, HIW and OFSTED, helping to drive continuous improvement and positive outcomes for the people we support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct quality assurance audits across our services.
  • Produce clear, accurate audit reports with practical, actionable recommendations.
  • Analyse audit findings and identify trends to support continuous improvement.
  • Support Registered Managers with quality improvement plans and ongoing compliance.
  • Monitor compliance with CQC, CIW, HIW and OFSTED regulatory standards, legislation, company policies, and best practice.
  • Prepare services for inspections and support post-inspection action plans where required.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and excellence across the organisation.

Requirements

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Experience in quality assurance, auditing, or compliance within health or social care.
  • A strong understanding of one or more regulatory frameworks, including CQC (England), CIW (Wales), HIW (Wales), and/or OFSTED, with the ability to apply regulatory standards in practice.
  • Experience supporting services through inspections and implementing quality improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent report writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • The confidence to professionally challenge and support Registered Managers using evidence-based recommendations.
  • Outstanding communication and organisational skills.
  • A passion for improving care quality and achieving positive outcomes.
