Quality Assurance Officer

Quality Assurance Officer – Leeds Conservatoire and University Centre Leeds

About the Role

Are you passionate about maintaining high standards and improving quality across services? We are seeking a proactive and detail-focused Quality Assurance Officer to join our team at Luminate Education Group and play a key role in supporting excellence across Leeds Conservatoire and University Centre Leeds.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring effective quality assurance processes
  • Supporting compliance with internal policies and external regulatory frameworks
  • Driving continuous improvement through monitoring, reporting, and documentation

What You Will Do

  • Act as a key point of contact, liaising with internal teams and external agencies to support smooth communication and service delivery.
  • Provide a responsive, customer-focused administrative service, managing daily priorities and fluctuating demands.
  • Manage and develop high-quality administrative processes, including:
    • Complaints and appeals
    • Disciplinary procedures
    • Student representation
    • Committee servicing
    • Audits
    • Policy documentation
  • Monitor compliance and reporting, tracking key processes, identifying trends, and providing recommendations for improvement and risk mitigation.
  • Support adherence to quality frameworks and regulatory requirements, including:
    • Internal policies
    • External standards (OfS, OfI&a, CMA, GDPR)

About You

Essential Requirements:

  • GCSE English (Grade 4/C or above) is essential, plus either:
    • A Level 3 qualification in IT or Business Administration, or
    • Significant relevant experience demonstrating administrative expertise
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and databases
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, with the ability to:
    • Manage competing priorities
    • Meet demanding deadlines
    • Deliver accurate outcomes
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to:
    • Build effective relationships
    • Work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Self-starter, capable of:
    • Using initiative
    • Solving problems
    • Managing change
    • Making sound decisions with minimal supervision
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
