Quality Assurance Operative - Goods in

At Medik8, we are on a mission to deliver results-driven, scientific skincare without compromise. As a proudly certified B Corp, our Quality and Governance teams strive for absolute excellence and continuous improvement. We ensure that every single process—from raw materials arriving at our facilities to the finished premium goods on our shelves—exceeds expectations and maintains compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) at all times.

We are looking for an analytical, detail-oriented Quality Assurance Operative to join our dedicated team and help us uphold the world-class standards our customers trust.

Location: Aylesbury Innovation Centre

Working Arrangement: 5 days On-site

Salary: £26,250 - £28,000 (Depending on Experience)

The Role: Your Impact

As our Quality Assurance Operative, you will be a vital line of defence in maintaining our product safety, integrity, and compliance. Working closely with both the QC and wider operational teams, you will have a varied, hands-on daily routine focused on keeping our production and logistics processes running flawlessly.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Inspections & Releases: Performing meticulous quality control inspections on incoming goods and manufacturing picks. You will also oversee bulk passing checks and releases.
  • Documentation Compliance: Reviewing batch documentation diligently to ensure every step aligns perfectly with our written compliance instructions.
  • Deviation & CAPA Management: Identifying and reporting issues in accordance with our deviation SOPs. You will support teams through the deviation process, carry out thorough impact assessments to find root causes, and raise and close CAPAs (Corrective and Preventive Actions).
  • Process Improvement: Collaborating daily to review and update SOPs and Work Instructions (WIs), ensuring our operational standards keep evolving.
  • Operational Collaboration: Providing reliable, real-time quality support to both the QC and production teams on the cleanroom floor.
  • Standards Advocacy: Monitoring hygiene, quality, and product safety issues on a daily basis, championing ad-hoc projects that support smooth logistics and production workflows.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
