Quality Assurance Specialist
Make a direct impact on the future of biopharmaceutical development by providing robust quality assurance oversight and data review at our Slough site on an 8-month contract.
This is a fully site-based role. Working together in person supports close, real-time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.

The hourly rate for this position in the United Kingdom is expected to range between £16.00 and £19.00. Initial salary placement within this range will be determined based on role-related factors such as experience, qualifications, and expected contribution.
What you will do:
- Ensure analytical data and development studies meet strict GMP compliance to advance high-quality medicines toward clinical manufacturing.
- Partner closely with MSAT, QC, and Development Services scientists, offering guidance on documentation best practices and data integrity.
- Review and approve study protocols, validation reports, method validations, reference characterizations, and stability studies.
- Conduct thorough raw data audits, audit trail reviews, and area walkthroughs across QC and Development labs.
- Trend, classify, and approve study-related deviations, atypical results, and change requests.
- Identify compliance non-conformances and collaborate cross-functionally to drive timely resolutions and continuous process improvements.

What we are looking for:
- 1–2 years of practical Quality Assurance experience in a regulated life sciences environment (Pharmaceutical, Biotech, or CDMO preferred).
- Proven hands-on experience reviewing raw data, analytical documentation, or validation reports in a GMP context.
- Solid understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines, analytical methods, and data integrity principles.
- Education in a relevant scientific discipline (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or related field) or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong attention to detail with effective communication skills to collaborate with scientists and cross-functional teams.
- Proactive problem-solving abilities with a commitment to maintaining high quality standards.
