There has never been a more important time to join RSM UK's Quality Assurance Department. As our Consulting business continues to grow, strong governance, effective risk management and robust control frameworks are critical to maintaining quality, protecting our reputation and supporting sustainable growth.
Our Quality Assurance Department is a central function with a clear remit to provide independent assurance over key controls and support the delivery of Consulting engagements in line with internal procedures, professional standards and regulatory requirements. Through our programme of risk-based reviews, we help identify emerging risks, highlight opportunities for improvement and support a culture of quality and accountability.
As a Quality Assurance Supervisor, you will work with stakeholders across Consulting to assess risk and control environments, provide independent challenge, identify governance improvements and promote best practice. This is a visible opportunity to help strengthen assurance processes across the firm’s Consulting practice while driving continuous improvement and positive change.

You’ll make an impact by:
- Delivering risk-based assurance reviews that assess governance, risk management and control arrangements across the Consulting business
- Identifying control improvements, emerging themes and root causes to help strengthen quality, consistency and operational effectiveness
- Managing assurance reviews from planning to completion, ensuring findings are clear, evidence-based and consistently delivered
- Providing constructive challenge and practical recommendations that support continuous improvement across quality, governance and controls
- Building trusted relationships with stakeholders across Consulting and the wider firm, supporting clear conversations around internal audit, risk and control matters
- Working with the Consulting QAD Lead to enhance assurance methodologies, embed best practice and improve the overall effectiveness of the function
What we are looking for:
You will be an experienced Internal Audit professional with strong technical knowledge, excellent portfolio and project management skills, and the ability to work confidently with a wide range of stakeholders. You will bring a collaborative approach, strong communication skills and a focus on delivering high-quality, practical assurance activity that supports continuous improvement across the Consulting business.
Some of the skills and experience we’re looking for include:
- ACA, ACCA, CA or CIA qualified, or qualified by experience, with good technical knowledge of internal audit standards
- Experience delivering internal audit, quality assurance, risk assurance or controls reviews within a professional services or large corporate environment
- Excellent portfolio and project management skills, with the ability to manage reviews through to successful completion
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues clearly and concisely
- A curious and questioning mindset, strong attention to detail, and the confidence to provide constructive challenge and suggest improvements
