Location: Loughborough, UK

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday with core hours 10:00–16:00

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a Quality Assurance Validation Specialist in Almac Pharma Services to provide maternity cover. In this role, you will:

  • Ensure equipment, facilities, utilities, processes, and packaging systems are qualified and validated in alignment with GMP requirements and global quality standards.
  • Provide QA oversight and approval of all validation activities.
  • Review technical and compliance documentation.
  • Support risk assessments and data integrity initiatives.
  • Investigate validation deviations.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver validation projects on time and to schedule.
  • Maintain regulatory compliance and support continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to both local and global business projects as a subject matter expert.

Requirements

Applicants must possess:

  • Eligibility to work in the UK, or
  • A valid work permit enabling full-time, permanent employment in the UK.

Essential Criteria

  • 5 x GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C or above, providing coverage of:
    • English Language
    • Mathematics
  • Validation experience in a pharmaceutical environment.
