About Kepak Foods Division

We are currently recruiting for a Quality Auditor (Nights) to join our New World Foods site (part of Kepak Group) in York.
Job Purpose / Primary Objective
The QA team play a critical role in ensuring the required standards of Food Safety, Quality and Hygiene are met. You will be required to liaise with all production areas.

Reporting Relationship: Reporting to the Quality Manager
Shift Pattern: Permanent Night Shift (10pm - 6am)
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities associated with this role include, but are not limited to the following:
- Traceability and Paperwork Auditing
- Equipment calibration and verification
- Hygiene Auditing of appropriate personnel, equipment, and factory environment
- Product, water, and environmental sampling and testing to agreed specifications and schedule
- Cleaning chemical concentration testing
- Liaising with production and/or hygiene departments to identify non-conformance and instigating corrective action
- GMP Auditing
Requirements
- Previous QA experience, ideally in food (minimum 2 years)
- Previous experience of night working
- Competent IT skills (e.g., Microsoft Office) with the ability to complete electronic records accurately
- English language skills essential
- Knowledge of paperwork and traceability systems is desirable
- Experience of GMP and temperature auditing/monitoring preferred
