About The Role

The Quality & Compliance Coordinator is responsible for coordinating a range of quality, compliance and project support activities across GW Power.

The role includes completing PQQs and framework applications, preparing tender quality submissions, coordinating supplier and subcontractor onboarding, supporting health and safety and CDM administration, compiling O&M manuals and maintaining quotation and compliance records.

Working closely with directors, managers, engineers and other internal departments, the successful candidate will ensure important information is accurate, complete and submitted within the required timescales.

This is a varied role suited to someone who is organised, proactive and comfortable managing several priorities at the same time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and complete PQQs, supplier questionnaires and framework applications.
  • Prepare tender quality submissions and supporting documentation.
  • Maintain standard quality responses, policies, case studies and company evidence.
  • Monitor framework, portal and submission deadlines.
  • Coordinate supplier and subcontractor onboarding.
  • Obtain and maintain insurance, accreditation and competency information.
  • Maintain approved supplier and subcontractor records.
  • Monitor document expiry dates and follow up outstanding information.
  • Provide administrative support for health and safety and CDM activities.
  • Maintain compliance records, action trackers and project documentation.
  • Assist with collating RAMS, training records and competency evidence.
  • Coordinate and compile project O&M manuals.
  • Obtain certificates, warranties, product information and as-fitted documentation.
  • Follow up outstanding close-out information with managers, suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Maintain O&M manual trackers and document revision records.
  • Create and accurately record quotation numbers.
  • Maintain internal registers and document control systems.
  • Support ISO management system and audit activities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve and simplify company processes.
  • Provide general support to the Operations team.

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Previous experience in a compliance, quality, document control, bid support or business administration role.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confident communicating with managers, clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Comfortable chasing information and following actions through to completion.
  • Confident using IT systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Able to produce clear and professionally presented documentation.
  • Proactive, dependable and solutions focused.
  • Able to handle confidential and commercially sensitive information.
  • A collaborative team player who enjoys working across different departments.

Desirable

  • Experience within construction, engineering, mechanical and electrical contracting or renewable energy.
  • Experience completing PQQs or framework applications.
  • Experience preparing tender quality submissions.
  • Experience using Constructionline, CHAS or similar compliance portals.
  • Experience compiling O&M manuals or project close-out information.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 or ISO 45001.
  • Awareness of health and safety and CDM requirements.
  • Experience of supplier or subcontractor onboarding.
  • IOSH, NEBOSH or another relevant health and safety qualification.

Salary

£28–32k DOE

Job Details

  • Full-time office-based role in our new HQ on Goulton Street, Hull.
  • Monday to Thursday 8.00–17.00, Friday 8.00–15.00 with a one-hour lunch.
  • Salary £28–32k DOE.
