Quality Compliance Engineer
Business: Advanced Manufacturing (Sheffield) Limited (AML) is an advanced machining supplier focused on aerofoil and rotative components. We are at the leading edge of machining technologies and are dedicated to delivering efficiency and reduced cycle times for our clients in the aerospace sector. Our advanced milling, turning and 5-axis capacity enables us to machine a wide range of products including bespoke ring, casing, gearbox, aerofoil and aerostructure components. To-Date, we have manufactured components for Rolls-Royce, Boeing, Siemens, Bombardier and are looking to expand out Machining capabilities over the coming year. The Position Maintain and develop the Business Management System (BMS) to ensure compliance with relevant standards (e.g, AS9100, AS13100 where applicable) Plan, conduct, and support internal audits across all departments Act as the main point of contact for external audits (customers, certification bodies, regulatory bodies) Ensure audit readiness across the business and manage audit schedules Raise, track, and close out non-conformances, ensuring root cause analysis and corrective actions are implemented Monitor compliance with company procedures, policies, and quality standards Support continuous improvement initiatives across the business Assist in the development and control of quality documentation, including procedures, work instructions, and records Conduct supplier quality activities, including evaluations and audits where required Provide guidance and training to staff on quality processes and compliance requirements Support customer quality requirements and investigations Support the quality function with another relevant tasks The Person Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related discipline (Would be an advantage but not essential) ISO 9001 / AS9100 Internal Auditor qualification Experience working within a quality engineering or quality assurance role Experience managing or maintaining a Business Management System (BMS) Experience conducting internal and external audits Experience within aerospace or precision engineering environment (Beneficial) Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001 / AS9100) Strong analytical and problem-solving ability (root cause analysis) Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadline
