Quality and compliance sit at the heart of every successful food manufacturing operation. This role offers the opportunity to join a fast-moving, quality-driven environment where robust systems, attention to detail and continuous improvement underpin everything that leaves the site.
Role Overview
You will support the effective operation and ongoing development of food safety and quality systems across the business. Working closely with operations, technical and supply chain teams, you will help ensure compliance with quality requirements and external regulations, while actively contributing to a strong, site-wide quality culture.
Key Accountabilities
- Maintain and update the Quality Management System
- Support compliance with BRCGS, HACCP and food safety standards
- Coordinate audits, inspections and customer visits
- Manage non-conformances, corrective actions and root cause analysis
- Support supplier approval and raw material compliance
- Assist with product specifications, labelling and artwork checks
- Monitor quality KPIs and produce performance reports
- Support complaint investigations and drive improvements
- Promote GMP and food safety across the site

People Profile
- Experience in a quality/technical role within food manufacturing
- Knowledge of HACCP, BRCGS and quality systems
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- Confident communicator across teams
- Proactive, solutions-focused mindset
- Relevant qualification (food science/food safety) is desirable
- Competent in Microsoft Office and QMS systems
